Honorable Mention

This year I entered seven photos in the Fresno Fair.  Two of those received Honorable Mentions.  Although 1st thru 3rd wouldhave be nice I am more than ecstatic to have caught the judges eye.

At the fair i met up with a great representative from Fresno Camera Club.  I am excited to get involved with the organization to better my photography skills.

Have you ever captured an Angel?

On Father's Day I had the opportunity to shoot 6 month old Katherin Chimienti.  She may not appear to be 6 months old, a result of her being born 3 months early. I was able to capture her sweet smile and gorgeous blue eyes. If you would like to here more of her story please visit:  http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/kathrynchimienti?ref=nl

Great weekend of shoots

This past weekend I was able to complete several firsts in my photography journey.  First maternity session, thank you Ginelle. First newborn shoot, thank you Kutka family, and first family portraits, thank you Ford and Fischer families.

Feedback was great and I had a blast shooting. I think there might even be some award winners for the Fresno Fair this year.

New Orleans was Picture Perfect

My trigger finger is sore from all the great shots around New Orleans. I enjoyed the annual Easter parades.  One by the belles in horse drawn carriages the other by the traditional floats. I also ate my way through New Orleans with a stop at Cafe Du Monde, Acme Oyster house, and Emeril's NOLA.

A New Adventure Begins

I have always enjoyed photography, more so in front of the camera, especially in my youth.  In the last few years I recognized the pictures I would take were capturing beauty in unique ways.  This led me to explore photography on a more professional level.

At this point I would be considered a para-professional photographer: Building a portfolio, making connections, and becoming inspired.

I have tons of support in friends and family and hope to make my passion for capturing life a prosperous venture.
